I went to a firm that prepared me to go to interviews–best resume ever! Prospective employers loved it after it was edited!
As for content, take some evening classes to show you have new interests and skills to round out your capabilities! For example, basic accounting… And volunteer politically or in health care or better yet, Junior Achievement as an advisor. Takes just a few months but you look like a go-getter, not a lazy waster…. And practice your interview skills on camera!
