How Do You Email Your Cover Letter And Resume?

I am trying to figure out if when emailing your resume if you attach the resume and put the cover letter as the body of the email. Please help! Thank you.

I always attach both my cover letter and resume, in a word format, If you can change it into an Adobe format that should work too. But I also put my cover letter in the body of the email. I also make sure to tell them that I have attached my cover letter and resume. Good Luck with your your search.
