I used this resume writing service in my area, this is the email address, (resume.help50@yahoo.com) you should try them, it only cost me $35.00 and I got a great job from this new resume, I never thought about the format that they use but the turn around time was less then 24 hrs. I would have to say it was the best service I have ever used and it was worth every dime. Also they let me pay through paypal.

Have a main resume which you slightly tweak to the requirements of the job you seek. Taylor the objective to the job you are applying for.
Ruthlessly edit it.
Leave out the references available on request.
Leave out most activities (especially solitary ones like Tennis unlessnless they are somehow related to the position you are applying for.
Have a written list of references and how to contact them ready when you are requested.
Realize a resume is just a step to get invited to an interview. People are hired based on how they interview. They are invited to an interview based on how their resume appears.

a proper email address… i used to regularly sort through resumes and if i had a lot i started by binning ones with emails like “sexygoddess4u69″, you know the trashy juvenile type.
make a new one with your name and dob if your regular one is a bit stupid. i know mine is.
